I’ve been covering the telecoms sector - as a journalist, analyst and commentator for the last 18 years. During this time I’ve launched a number of different research services and publications including Global Mobile, Mobile Media and 3G Mobile. I have moved with these services - from CMP in Paris where I set up the business in 1994 to Baskerville in London and now Informa Telecoms and Media.

Since January 2005 I have a new position at Informa Telecoms and Media - Chief Research Officer. This makes me responsible for our strategy in the telecoms and media sectors. We employ 90+ editors, analysts and researchers in London and have a global network of full and part-time employees.

I also spend a lot of my time with clients and industry conducts conducting briefing sessions and panels covering different aspects of the telecoms sector.
