Derrick Harris has been covering the distributed computing space since 2003, when he began reporting on grid computing for a publication called GRIDtoday (later renamed On-Demand Enterprise). Derrick joined GigaOM as a contributing writer in 2009 and was one of the original curators for GigaOM Pro, where he continues to serve as a Senior Curator and analyst. Derrick holds a juris doctor degree, cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
