Insert ‘House of Stark’ Motto Here: Metro Ski and Snowboard Show 2012
For the second year running I attended Metro Ski and Snowboard Show last weekend in London. This is one of my favourite events to attend as a hound, possibly a wee bit biased by my total obsession with skiing. With the advance of the technological era, the focus of the show has shifted a [...]
THIS IS IMPORTANT AND EXCITING! International Renewable Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition
When I first saw the words ‘7th International Renewable Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition’ I am slightly ashamed to admit I read them as something akin to ‘Boring International Blah de Blah de Boredom Boringness Exhibition’ (hence the measures I have taken in my own title). As soon as I’d gone so far as to [...]
A Little Illumination: ad:tech New York
I have a soft spot for Adtech, as last year’s one in London was my first ever conference as a hound, and I spent two days lounging in the VIP area interviewing big sharks from the likes of eBay, Facebook, Disney and Google. Last night Adtech New York drew to a close, and looked to [...]

Well we all know I love a good music festival. Actually we all know (or if you don’t I’m telling you now) I love any music festival, and because of that, or perhaps in spite of it, I consider myself quite the festival connoisseur (thank you spell check). And let me tell you, despite their [...]
An In Depth Exploration of the Acronym ASD. Oh, and a Kickass Conference
Upon first agreeing to dig up some exciting stuff on ASD Las Vegas I first had to figure out what it was. Well of course I could just look it up on Conference Hound (okay I’m not going to lie to you, the link is a bit of a giveaway, but let’s call this artistic license [...]
A Cracking Way Connect: World Education Congress 2012
Although the name may conjure up images of some academic meeting of bespectacled scholars bent on hashing out the educational system, the World Education Congress could not be further from it! In its most basic format, it is a networking event about networking, or rather, the networking event about networking. And as any businessman (or [...]
