Thank you Steve Jobs – RIP

Steve Jobs passed away yesterday, Oct 5, 2011. His amazing products have touched people the world over, and made so many things possible that were previously not possible or very difficult, and we at Conference Hound have certainly been influenced and enabled by his inventions.

Many of our business deals are negotiated and done over iPhone. Music is streamed in our office via iTunes. The iPad2 is our trusty companion and device of choice as we travel to conferences, and we are not alone as evident by the number of iPads and iPad2s we see constantly at conferences and the greater events community. And finally, 95%+ of the code for Conference Hound’s online products was written on a MacBook Pro.

So from all of us at Conference Hound, for all that you’ve done, and all that you stood for — thank you Steve Jobs – rest in peace.
