Expo West was amazing! It was my second time visiting Anaheim for this incredible food show and I had the time of my life, once again.
I met with many of my favorite brands from SoDelicious to Barlean’s and Pamela’s to Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bread. I love attending these conferences because of the beautiful friendships I have made with these brands and the talented folks behind them.
My favorite booths this year were the Barlean’s and the Rudi’s Organic Bread booths. They both introduced so so many incredible products. Barlean’s is coming out with a Key Lime Omega Swirl as well as Chia Seeds and Kid’s To-Go Omega Packets. They were serving soft serve yogurt with the key lime omega flavor and my favorite Greens drink with apple juice. I was honored to actually meet Mr. Barlean- it was pretty exciting to talk to him about how he started the company and grew it to the meca it is today!
Rudi’s Bread made delicious chicken tacos – which were perfectly bite sized and delicious.
Other great brands and friends that I saw were Justin from Justin’s Nut Butter, Vega which launched new products, Galaxy Cheese with their new vegan cheese shreds and the Cliff Bar booth which was huge and had a vast array of new bars and interactive games. I was excited to see ProBar come out with their gluten-free bars and thrilled to see my Chobani and Fage yogurts there for some yogurt snacks mid-day.
Overall, the conference was a huge success and I was able to meet up with many of my blog pals, as well.
This year I attended all 3 days of the show and the pre-show day with the Organic Tent outside in the California sunshine with the palm trees.
The weather was great; food was incredible and people were amazing.
As always. I’m already excited to attend next year.
