The 2nd Annual NYC Vegetarian Festival was amazing today! I had such a great time presenting. I made Vegan Nachos with the new Galaxy Cheese Vegan Shreds, fresh tomatoes, cilantro, basil, nutritional yeast and lots of green veggies. It was so much fun and my audience was very interactive.
I topped off the nachos with my Barlean’s Greens powder and served it to the crowd. They LOVED it and raved over the recipe. I was so excited to hear this and so happy that I introduced these new products to my audience.
I passed around the new cheese shreds and had everyone taste them- they couldn’t believe they were Vegan! I was so excited to hear the great news and can’t wait to create more recipes using the Galaxy cheese!
There were over 8,000 at the NYC Veg Fest and the lines were wrapped around 2 blocks- just like last year- everyone stood in the pouring rain waiting to get in.
It was a wonderful day and a lot of fun. I met some amazing people, lots of my blog readers, clients and new local food brand vendors that were serving their products.
I’m already looking forward to next year!
