The Donkey Takes The Stage: Democratic Convention 2012

With the election fast approaching things are hotting up in the political sphere. And absolutely sizzling is the Democratic National Convention, which kicked off today in Charlotte, NC! They’ve got Julian Castro, Tulsi Gabbard, Joyce Beattie and many many more, in fact, Michelle Obama is onstage right now! And of course, on the final day, the president himself.

Packaged as “the most open and accessible [convention] in history” it invites everyone: democrats for support, republicans to observe and assess and reconsider the opposition, and anyone who’s as yet undecided, in the hopes it will help them do so! As they say, “It isn’t about political ritual or simply renominating the president, it’s about Americans coming together.”
