Summer isn’t the only thing bringing the heat to Los Angeles this year. The California Gift Show (CGS) is riding through this July with style and glam, delivering to one of the most fashionable cities in California the hottest products and trends emerging in today’s consumer market. Bringing creativity, art, and inpsiration to the heart of Los Angeles, CGS gives a promising experience for both the consumer and artist, providing a memorable and valuable occasion for the two.

CGS presents its exciting exposition through the Los Angeles Convention Center and the L.A. Mart, offering extensive collections and displays of designers’ current projects and merchandise that are not only defining the California contemporary lifestyle, but are also inspiring trends throughout the nation and worldwide. Customers are able to explore emerging products of the western market, as well as products from international brands that are gaining much acclaim for their unique global style, transporting world culture right to the city of Los Angeles. Featured in the L.A. Mart, showrooms open up imaginative and stylish displays of gift and home lines, giving away an exclusive look into the latest in interior design. Models of residential homes introduce up-to-date furniture, fabric, lighting, floors, wall coverings and much more for the ideal home. Wilco Imports, Stephen Young, and The French Bee as just some of the familiar names attendees can find displayed in the L.A. Mart Design Center.
While striving to appeal to local and worldwide buyers, CGS also serves as a prominent opening for both popular and unknown designers, brands and artists everywhere to expose their latest merchandise to the chic public eye. Exhibitors are given the chance to reveal new collections and create displays that offer new-to-market trends and products for all of Los Angeles to witness.
But exposure isn’t the only helping hand CGS has to offer. Throughout the gift show, various activities and events provide special seminars presenting ways to expand self-projects and business ideas to become a successful retailer. Marcia Miller, founder of I Love Bracelets, presents, “How to Go Big With the Hottest Gift Category: Fashion Accessories,” a personal seminar in which Miller herself discusses ways to make money through the simple joy of jewelry making. CGS grants opportunities for the aspiring designer to explore, learn, imagine and create towards building on initial ideas and plans, aiming to help to transform small projects into thriving businesses.
CGS engages with various retail customers, both independent and corporate, as multiple participants ranging from hotels, resorts, and spas, to museums, cruise lines and apparel brands can be seen at the market to mingle with. Kitson, Fred Segal, the Hilton, Ace Hardware, and yes, even the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland, are just some of popular names that can be spotted at this year’s CGS. Travel through this wonderful experience to witness what’s new and hot in today’s market and discover what’s in-store for you.
