I have worked in the online industry before it was cool to say you work in the online industry. Duties have included
- Running a media team spending an integrated budget of $10mm+ aimed at real estate lead generation (prior to the Zillows’ of the world even existing)
- Helping run and generate new business for a $400mm+ direct response agency
My real passion is to own a P & L and manage a business, which is what I’ve been doing at Lucky Brand Jeans for a little over a year now on the e-commerce side. I inherited an e-commerce company that hadn’t grown in 3 years, and we are on pace to grow 30% in back to back years. This growth has been accomplished through a combination of analytical based media decisions, embracing of corporate/creative roots, and a meticulous eye to merchandising detail.
The analytical side of my brain has lead me to also manage all decisions behind database marketing - including direct mail and one to one e-mail segmentation.
I strive to be a thought leader in my sector, and have been honored to participate in numerous events as both a featured speaker and a panelist. Recent speaking engagements have included:
- Panelist at DM Days and Search Engine Strategies
- Featured speaker at Shop.Org Merchandising Workshop, E-Tail East, and Channel Advisor Catalyst
- Featured by Forbes/IBM in a Forbes Insight segment on online marketing
My ultimate goal is to be a chief officer at a major company, preferably in fashion, which allows me to balance my talents as an analytical, revenue driven professional complimented with a passion for managing people to drive the best results out of a varying set of skill sets.
