Famous for its hospitality and welcoming spirit, Boston is one of the premiere conference cities in the United States.
The conference venues are located in Boston’s historic districts. The Seaport World Trade Center has at a vast amount of 180,000 square feet for Boston conference exhibitors. Another popular Boston conference venue is the Hynes Veteran Memorial Convention Center, which is located in the heart of restaurant-rich Back Bay. The Hynes Convention Center has long been a favorite business destination for mid-sized shows, special events and expositions.
As one of the most historical conference cities, there is much to learn about the United State’s political past. The Ether Dome at Massachusetts General Hospital is where Thomas W. G. Morton administered ether while Dr. John Collins Warren cut a tumor out of the neck of patient Gilbert Abbott on October 16, 1846. The Black Heritage Trail connects points of the history of the blacks in Boston from the American Meeting house to the St. Gaudens frieze commemorating the 54th Massachusetts, which was the first all black regiment to fight for the Union in the Civil War.
