Advanced Cardiac Techniques in Surgery (ACTS) 2011

This two day teleconference will combine surgical demonstrations performed live from Lenox Hill Hospital in the morning with lectures by international leaders in our field in the afternoon. The cases will be filmed using High Definition Television (HDTV) and will be projected using high resolution wide screen format at the Equitable Center.The focus will be placed on the most recent advances in the surgical treatment of Heart Valve and Coronary Artery Diseases, Chronic Atrial Fibrillation and Diseases of the Aorta, with emphasis on the less invasive approaches including percutaneous techniques. A moderating panel will facilitate interaction between the audience and the faculty.Exhibitors will present the latest cardiac surgical techniques.
