Cloud Summit East Africa 2012

Sep 7, 2012 in Nairobi (Kenya)

East Africa's Premier Cloud Event for IT Leaders

The innaugural Cloud Summit East Africa is hosting over two hundred IT professionals, CIOs, Chief Information Security Officers and cloud computing experts from the top companies in East Africa, to discuss the most pressing issues facing IT Security and Cloud Computing.

IT Security is more important now than ever with technology changing and developing so rapidly. These changes, however, increase the need for information security to be controlled and properly implemented - the Summit aims to underpin practical solutions to strengthen IT security without restricting business production and innovation.

Cloud Computing still proves to be a vital business issue for IT professionals to address in 2011 and the potential business benefits still dominates CIO thinking but there are still contentious issues to address. These issues will serve to unlock potential avenues for cost reduction, improved efficiency and innovation, while also addressing the pitfalls of moving to the cloud.

Cloud Summit East Africa is produced and hosted by Kinetic Events.
