FOSE 2012 features 5 conferences:

1. Cybersecurity- This conference will focus on the solutions needed to execute on defensive security from both the executive programmatic and technical execution views by discussing the priority work in CIO and CISO shops in the federal government today as FISMA changes to a more defensive implementation and the White House mandates cyber priorities.

2. Cloud & Virtualization- Cloud computing activity is rapidly changing IT architectures in government and industry. It is being used to support data center consolidation and other cost sharing initiatives, as well as facilitating more rapid deployment of OMB’s Future First efforts.  The conference will look at the latest issues facing the federal government, the best practices presented by agencies at the forefront of the cloud model, and what you need to know about the new Cloud Roadmap issued by the National Institute of Standards & Technology.

3. Mobile Government- will examine the current issues facing mobility implementation from both a management and technical perspective. The use of smart phones and tablets present the possibility of changing the way agencies communicate with citizens as well as how they conduct the business of government. 4. 5. Records & Information Management- will focus on the issues and concerns of federal government staff and contractors responsbile for developing and supporting the policies, procedures and technologies that manage records and information.
