To review the leading research from around the world, and develop a deeper understanding of how emergent technologies might effect coastlines and the seabed, marine mammals and seabirds, and the human communities in development areas. The importance of this subject means that it is relevant to researchers working in many academic areas, and it is an aim of this conference to bring together those working in different disciplines and from different cultures to encourage collaboration and further progress in the subject. Submission of papers is now invited to include, but not limited to, the areas listed below. The conference’s Scientific Steering Committee will then offer the authors of what it feels to be the most appropriate abstracts the opportunity to make a presentation to the conference, or to display a research poster at the accompanying exhibition.
