Life-of-Mine 2012

This conference, organised in collaboration with the University of Queensland’s Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation (CMLR) and the Southern Queensland AusIMM branch, will provide participants with an invaluable source of information and experiences on current and future mine rehabilitation practices. Practitioners will develop an advanced level of understanding of relevant research findings leading to improved practices and outcomes. Regulators will gain a broader exposure to activities and practices beyond their state and national jurisdictions. In addition, the conference provides a platform for the mining and mineral processing engineers to be engaged with, learn from, and contribute to addressing the challenges and opportunities associated with the rehabilitation of mining and mineral processing wastes.
