The mission of the Texas Association for Behavior Analysis is to advance the science and application of behavior analysis to improve the world in which we live. To that end, TxABA strives to disseminate knowledge from the science of behavior analysis to the public and to professional behavior analysts working in Texas and its neighboring states (Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico).
TxABA provides opportunities for behavior analysts to learn of developments in basic research as well as applied intervention and research. It provides a supportive community, verbal and otherwise, for behaving in a behavior analytic manner. TxABA provides resources for persons interested in behavior analysis and also represents behavior analysts in matters important to professional practice and public policy.
The average attendance of the TxABA Regional Conference on Behavior Analysis ranges from 250 to 450 persons, and is comprised of practitioners, academic professionals, students, community participants such as parents, and other professionals such as psychologists, educators, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and social workers.
The TxABA annual conference brings together behavior analysts from Texas and the surrounding states, and provides a valuable resource to share information on the latest basic and applied topics from the U.S. and around the world.
