This two-part master class will draw from Dr. Allan Schore’s latest book, The Science of the Art of Psychotherapy, and take an in-depth look at the therapeutic change mechanisms critical to successfully treating the dissociation, affect dysregulation and disorganized attachment characteristic of early relational trauma.
In the morning, Dr. Schore will provide a guided tour of the interdisciplinary research underlying Regulation Theory and, in the afternoon, highlight the implicit-level, right-brain-to-right-brain, rupture-and-repair processes at play in the rich case material in Philip Bromberg’s new book The Shadow of the Tsunami and the Growth of the Relational Mind.
