Workshop on International Humanitarianism & Security Today| November 14-16, 2012   Workshop Synopsis:  The Intersection between humanitarian assistance and security today pose new threats to those who engage in them and to the way aid is to be provided in zones of conflicts. And the question of whether there exist a very humanitarian nature to countries engaging in them is often asked.  For instance, when are we to engage in conflicts for assistance? Use protective tools to assist? And also when is it the right time to engage other stakeholders to events they may or may not care about?  Why Participate:  With humanitarian assistance, there are limits and there are careful planning to achieving the end results.  The following workshop geared for professional, scholars, and young graduates is being organized to explore the theme of humanitarianism and security today.
