Gelfand Kausiyo

General Manager with proven business skills and general management abilities, having established a completely new business unit, setting up and developing complex broadcast infrastructure for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). A registered member of both the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) and the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) he is the Past Chairman of the Electronics & Software Committee of SAIEE. Interested in researching current and future technology trends in the field of telecommunications and broadcast engineering, Gelfand is an Electrical & Electronic Engineering Graduate from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. He has a special interest in the development of strategy, designing systems and developing advanced workflows for digital multimedia business environments including, but not limited to, radio and TV.
